Two days back, Visceral's Dead Space official Twitter account showed a bizarre artwork. To a layman, the image appears to be a random freehand style artwork depicting nothing but a random design. However, gamers who're fans and follow the Dead Space game closely can recognize the unitology symbols and this artwork is related to upcoming Dead Space 2. Same tactics were used in Dead Space game and the cryptic words were deciphered.
Several blogs and individuals have claimed to be the first to decipher necromorphic Dead Space artwork. But Hell Descent, horror game forums moderator Aglaophotis deciphered the message at the bottom of the image. That says - the nightmare is over but it will not end.
This message is said to be written in a mysterious alien language and a guide to decipher similar language appears on Deviantart.
It's a gripping marketing teaser to keep the fans and potential gamers interested in the alien world. Either the upcoming issue of Official PlayStation Magazine will reveal more about Dead Space 2 or an official announcement might. We hope this sequel is scarier than the first installment.
