BlackBerry to Get Flash Support
According to folks over at BoyGeniusReport, RIM is prepping up support for Flash and Silverlight to the BlackBerry web browser. Now, to be clear, note that we're not talking about flash lite and other adjustments . This is the real thing, full Flash support!
The not so exciting thing about this update is that RIM is still working on it . So, it will be quite a while until this one becomes a reality. The good thing, however, is that they have already started the preliminary steps towards this. So, the day when you will be able to watch YouTube videos on your BlackBerry as it is seems a few months away.
Currently, Flash support on mobile browsers is a niche feature found only on select platforms. Even the mighty iPhone is yet to get full flash support on its Safari browser.
