Computex 2010: Acer shows Liquid E Ferrari Edition

At the on-going Computex 2010 convention, Acer has unveiled brand new Liquid E Ferrari Edition smartphone. Yes, it's the same Acer Liquid smartphone with Google's Android mobile operating system on it. Back in March, we reviewedthe same smartphone and believe that few changes would actually make the phone perform better. This is a special edition smartphone which would go on sale in July at an undisclosed price.

New Acer Liquid E Ferrari Edition comes with Android 2.1 'Donut' update already running on it. The smartphone has same 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen offering 800x480 pixel resolution and under-clocked 768MHz Snapdragon processor, 5-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi and 256MB RAM.

So, what's different in this special edition handset apart from the Ferrari-like red exteriors? Well, Acer bundles an Elite Bluetooth headset that cancels echo and automatically regulates volume along with several Ferrari goodies - images, ringtones and videos. We don't know how much the Liquid E's paint job, few multimedia files and Bluetooth will add to the handset's cost.
