Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro Now In India

Just a few days after the launch of the Xperia X10 Mini here in India, Sony Ericsson has launched the Vivaz Pro in the country. The phone, visually similar to the existing Vivaz, features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and a 5 megapixel camera. The Vivaz, on the other hand, comes sans the QWERTY keyboard but packs in a better 8 megapixel camera.

Like the Vivaz, the Pro has a 3.2-inch resistive touchscreen capable of 640 x 360 resolution. The phone runs Symbian S60 Version 5. It also features a 3.5 mm audio jack and comes with 75MB of internal memory. Of course, you can add microSD cards and increase the storage capacity. The phone is Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g compatible with DLNA support as well.

While the camera has been downgraded to 5 megapixel, the HD video recording capability of the Vivaz is retained on the Vivaz Pro as well. The phone features a 1200Mah battery and will be available in two color options in India, white and black. The phone is priced at Rs. 24,500 and is now on sale across the country.
