Motorola Milestone XT720 Gets Xenon Flash

Motorola seems to be on a mission to introduce spruced up versions of its older handsets these days. If it was the Droid a few days ago, it's now turn of another handset that is set to receive the update treatment.

We are talking about the Motorola's Milestone which now gets an upgraded camera and an updated Android OS version. Apart from these updates, the phone will also feature a Xenon flash - making the XT720 the first Android device to sport one.

There have been some design changes with the slide-out QWERTY keypad on the handset slimmed down to just 10.9mm. The phone will feature a 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen with multi-touch capabilities and a 480 x 854 pixel resolution, 3G, Wi-Fi with DLNA, GPS with A-GPS , Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP,8MP camera with Xenon flash, face/smile detection, Geo-tagging and 720p video recording. The phone will also have FM radio, a 3.5mm audio jack and an HDMI port.

The phone is expected to be released in Europe soon. Pricing details are yet to be revealed - however, it is expected to hover at around the 450 pounds mark, making it quite an expensive phone.
