Sony DSLR-A450 Camera Unveiled

Just before the Consumer Electronics Show 2010, Sony has unveiled its new Alpha A450 DSLR camera. This new 14.2-megapixel Alpha A450 DSLR camera boasts of maximum 7 frames per second burst mode favorable for capturing action shots. The 14.2 effective megapixel Exmor CMOS sensor teams with BIONZ processor for highly detailed images with ultra-low noise. While many DSLR makers offer HD-video recording, Sony still resists bringing video recording feature to its DSLR lineup. Sony DSLR-A450 will be available next month.

Placed between the mid-range A5xx series and entry-level A3xx series cameras, the new Alpha 450 is meant for those looking to go a step ahead from basic DSLR. The powerful BIONZ image processor allows 5 frames per second continuous shooting and also offers 7 frames per second burst mode by setting Speed Priority mode. The actual speed will be dependent on the media and shooting conditions.

Sensitivity can be set as high as ISO 12800 for capturing high quality images even in low light conditions without flash. Enthusiasts can preview bright and full resolution images using Manual Focus Check Live View on 2.7-inch Clear Photo LCD display. Alpha 450 offers 95 percent field of view for better framing and composition.

This Alpha series DSLR also offers shooting stamina that allows capturing 1050-shot for one full charge.
