Google Chrome Gets Automatic Translation

Google Chrome, Google's own browser, had seen quite a few feature additions in the recent past. The most important amongst them being the support for various extensions. In its latest version (currently in Beta), Google Chrome has added a cool automatic translation feature that allows users to translate websites "on the fly" without the need for a transliteration tool.

The new version, which can be downloaded from the Google Chrome Beta channel website, also features enhanced, advanced privacy controls. Coming back to the translation tool, users can now specify if the prefer to translate every page they visit to a language of their choice (that is supported, of course!). This feature will enable erstwhile "unreadable" websites to be come usable for a non-native user.

Chrome has also added quite a few new extensions, some of which are localized. For example, UK users get a travel information extension that for Transport for London, while there are others developed by ticketing and shopping price comparison sites.
