Fly Mobiles India has launched brand new Booom cell phone that has a dual-SIM support. The company claims that Booom MC105 is India's first mobile phone with a 30mm x 40mm speaker and a built-in amplifier to pump out real loud sound. Besides being dual-SIM, this phone has a number of interesting features like informing a pre-selected contact in case of emergency with a simple button press and hold. Unfortunately, the VGA camera on this phone won't give any impressive images.
New Fly Booom MC105 has a 5.1cm TFT display and has up to 0.5MB internal memory. Radio enthusiasts will enjoy FM radio with scheduled recording on this phone. Users can have up to five different FM alarms. This phone allows setting up to 15 FM channels with specific channel effect and has music player that shows album cover, lyrics and the background. Thankfully, the phone comes with 3.5mm jack which allows user to hooking any pair of headphones.
The phone comes with 2GB memory card pre-loaded with Bollywood audio, video and wallpapers. This memory is expandable to 4GB. Booom also has Bluetooth but doesn't support A2DP. Fly adds feature like Mobile Tracker, password protection, call black-listing, SMS Filter, and pre-dated SMS message to this phone. The camera quality can be bit let down but interestingly, the phone allows the users to record videos in AVI format. This phone has 1200mAh battery that offers 8 hours of talk time.
Fly Booom MC105 is available in India for Rs. 3,649.
