Free Indian Maps Update for Motorola Android Phone

Free Indian Maps Update for Motorola Android PhoneMotorola India has said it will push a free and upgraded version of maps for India to Android power handsets - Milestone, Milestone XT720 and Backflip. The Mapping application is powered by MapMyIndia that offers street-level navigation, routing in 620 cities, and over 576000 towns as well as villages of India. As of now, the company hasn't specified how the new update would be made available to the Android-based Motorola handset owners.

Motorola's MOTONAV has 'India' centric maps that are a part of the free GPS Navigation service. This service requires no activation or data charges, can be used even without a SIM in the phone and isn't dependent on the mobile networks.

Looks like Motorala will push the update Over-The-Air for Indian citizens or maybe make it available at Motorola service centers. Motorola Milestone XT720, Backflip and Milestone consumers can call Motorola's toll-free number 1800 3000 4343 or email info.in@motorola.com for further information.
