Garmin-Asus' First Android Phone in India SoonGarmin-Asus, which has a decent line-up of navigation friendly devices on sale in India, is readying the launch of its first Android based phone in the country.

The phone, which we suspect to be the A10, was first heard of back in April. When launched, the phone would come with Android 2.1. It boasts of "Extra long battery life offering up to 5hours of talk time". The phone carries forward the Smart3 tag from the Garmin-Asus M10 mobile on the Android platform.

Like most other Garmin-Asus phones, this one too would be navigation friendly and would feature a plethora of built-in point of interests (POI). It also provides real-time information on weather, gas prices, parking lot availability, movie show times, flight status, public transportation and much more via the 'click and go' function.

Other features include an Auto focus camera that can take images at 5 megapixels, built in car Navigation with Street View function and connected features like CIAO, Panoramio, Movie listings.

This new phone would be priced competitively between 20,000 to 22,000 when launched around the last week of September 2010.
