Coming Soon: T-Mobile G2

Android, as a mobile operating system, has matured a lot ever since its introduction almost two years ago. We have reasons to believe that. You folks still remember the handset that started it all - the T-Mobile G1? It happened to be the very first Android based handset.

Even at the time of the launch of G1, there were talks about the G2, its successor. Two years down the lane, when everyone had almost forgotten about the G2, T-mobile has revived interest in it. This was expressed in a teaser ad that indicates that the successor to the G2 is a reality after all.

  

T-Mobile's teaser shows a phone draped in cloth without revealing much except for the shape of the device. The phone is believed to be the first phone on T-Mobile that would be HSPA+ 4G ready. It is expected to be released sometime in September. We will bring you more updates on the same as soon as we hear about it.
