Find Items Lost at Airport on CISF Site
If you are one of those forgetful flyers, with a tendency to leave valuables behind at the airport, fret not. You now have help to locate that lost mobile phone, laptop or bag of yours on the Internet!
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has added a new feature on its official website http://cisf.nic.in/ called - Lost and Found Items at Airports. 57 Indian airports are listed on the site. All you have to do is select the desired airport, and a list of dates appear. On selecting a particular date, the listed lost and found items appear along with their description. For example, the model number and colour of mobile phone, amount of money in the wallet found and so on.
They have, under every airport, mentioned the name and contact details of the concerned person who has to be contacted in order to claim the lost and found item.
However, due to some technical issues, a lot of links on the website do not open while using Firefox. Looks like the CISF has a lot of debugging to do.
