Samsung i5700 Spica Gets Previewed

Samsung seems very gung ho regarding its Android lineup. The first phone from the company based on Android was the i7500 Galaxy which has been released in some parts of the world.

Along with the Glaxy, we knew of the existence of its younger sibling, the i5700 Galaxy Lite , which has in its latest appearance been seen in a video preview. The Galaxy Lite is also known by its new nickname, Spica . The latest video shows the phone in a never before seen black avatar. While the Galaxy Lite may be the little cousin to the more expensive i7500, apart from a few features less, the Glaxy Lite matches up pretty well to the i7500. The major differences are the lack of flash for the camera and the lesser amount of internal memory.

The Glaxy Lite might go on sale later this year with Android 1.6 aboard it.
