After the slew of info on HP notebooks leaked over the web last week, HP unveiled the new HP Mini 311 netbook with Nvidia ION inside. This new netbook features 11.6-inch high definition resolution supporting screen and has 92-percent of the full-sized keyboard. Along with that HP Mini 110 by Studio Tord Boontje arrives with a 10.1-inch screen, mercury-free display and HP Imprint 3-D technology.
HP Mini 311 will be offered for price starting at $399 (Rs. 19,200 approx.) that will be available pre-loaded with WindowsXP on Sept. 23 and Windows 7 Premium on Oct 18. While the HP Mini 110 by Studio Tord Boontje will be available with Windows 7 Starter Edition for $399 (Rs. 19,200 approx.) on Oct. 18.
As reported earlier, 11.6-inch HD display bearing HP Mini 311 will pack 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD and WiFi (802.11b/g). The highlight of this model is the Nvidia ION graphics packed inside, which will pit it against Lenovo IdeaPad S12 and Samsung N510.
HP Mini 110, designed by Dutch designer Tord Boontje, is just over an inch in thickness and has a 10.1-inch screen with multiple layers on the top cover featuring HP Imprint 3-D technology. Windows 7 Starter edition would be pre-loaded along with 15 wallpapers, screensavers and StarDocks MyColors Theme.
Both HP Mini models will feature HP QuickSync software for automatic synchronization and back up of data with home PC wirelessly.
