It's been not very long since the introduction of Samsungs Windows Mobile powered B7320 Omnia PRO. In fact, we're reviewing one as we file this story. That, however, isn't stopping Samsung from introducing a successor/upgrade to the B7320.
Say hello to the B7330 Omnia PRO. The device, as mentioned earlier, is an upgraded version of the B7320 and sports new feature additions. The main difference is the screen, which now happens to be a 320x320 unit - unlike the QVGA screen of its predecessor. Under the hood, it will be the OS that would see a change. The B7330 will come with WindowsMobile 6.5 pre-installed and will also be one of the first phones to use Microsoft's latest "stop-gap" OS. The B7330 also comes with HSUPA support - which was missing in the B7320.
In other news, Samsung's other WinMo powered devices - the i8000, B7320, B7300, B7330, and B7610, will, in future, come with Windows Mobile 6.5 pre-installed. For those who have these devices already, updates would be provided to the new version as and when it is officially available.
As for the launch, we can safely expect the B7330 to arrive sometime in October at a yet to be announced price.
