New Motion Activated Headphones

At the much hyped 'Change Music Forever' event, Sony Ericsson announced new motion-activated headphones MH907. Touted to be clever headphones, the music in these earphones gets paused automatically if the earbud is pulled out from either of the ears. Sony's new MH907 might not change music listening forever but will certainly change human-mobile interaction with headphones as mediator. Boasted to be the world's first motion-activated headphones, Sony MH907 would be available worldwide for $55 (approx. Rs. 2,600). One can insert an earbud in the ear to answer a call and hang up by removing it. Sony Ericsson noted that phone call won't be answered if the headphones are in pocket or bag since human contact is required for headphones' activation.

Listen to music by plugging both earbuds in the ears and pause music by pulling out one of the earbuds. Sony has also added Clear Audio experience for clearer and crisper sounds. No buttons need to be pressed or activated since MH907 headphones use Sony Ericsson's 'SensMe' Control technology to sense the human body. These headphones can be used with only those Sony Ericsson phones which have a fast port connector. Sony Ericsson has partnered with renowned animator Kristofer Strom to debut a short film showing a cartoon character's usage of MH907 headphones. Check out the video below.
