MSI Unveils G Series Gaming Notebooks

MSI has refreshed its laptop lineup with new G-series gaming and entertainment laptops that would be display at upcoming CeBIT convention in Hanover, Germany from March 2. The G-series will comprises of seven models - GX640, GX740, GT640, GT740, GE600, GE700 and GT660. All G-series Gaming notebooks will have Intel's Arrandale Core chips and ATI Mobility Radeon HD graphics cards. More information about the pricing and availability of these notebooks would be available next week.

New MSI G series notebooks boast of GT660 laptop as the ultimate gaming machine with quad-core Intel Core i7 processor and Nvidia GeForce GTX 285M with 1GB video memory. With inquisitive design, this notebook flaunts the glowing MSI logo on its top panel and has body covered with rich, glossy color film coating. GT660 boasts world class sound with overhauled speaker circuits for crisper and clearer sound.

Apart from that, GT660 also features USB 3.0 that promises 4.8GB per second, and can support up to 12GB DDR3 memory in triple channel mode. Also, users can add up to 1TB of storage to this notebook. This might be one of the high-end MSI gaming machines.

New GX640, GX740, GE600 and GT740 will come with Intel Arrandale Core CPU and top-end ATI Radeon HD graphics with 1GB video memory - we believe the HD 5000 series. While the rest two GT640 and GT740 will come with Intel Core i7 boasting Hyper Threading and Turbo Boost technologies. For amazing graphics and imaging, both notebooks boast Nvidia GeForce GTS 250M discrete graphics.





All G-series laptops have independent numberpad and four keys patched with eye-catching color - W,A,S, and D. Like the Dell Studio line, these G-series laptops will have luminescent strip for media controls above keyboard.
