New evidence found in the iPhone OS 3.2 software development kit for iPad points out the possibility of video chat support for future iPad and iPhone devices, reports 9-to-5 Mac.
The icons found in the iPhone OS 3.2 SDK are placed in its TelephoneyUI framework segment. Of course, there would be a small camera on the front-side as a part of hardware revision for supporting video-call and video chat. Otherwise, all iPhone and iPad owners would have to stand in front of mirrors for video chat features.
Apple would never put a code in the software development kit without any future plans to bring in a significant feature. The company has been known for being tight-lipped and so far, we've observed that it reveals not one, but a couple features at a time. So, we wait for the white-fruit-themed toy maker to comment officially on this one.
