If you think you had enough of the button mashing fun while playing Street Fighter IV on the PlayStation 3, then get ready for some handheld action. Capcom will bring the classic action game Street Fighter for Apple iPhone and iPod Touchnext month. Rejoiced? Yes, but like others, we too are wondering about the controls that will this game employ. The game will have virtual pad and with direction buttons recreated on the touchscreen.
Ultimate fighting game Street Fighter IV may appear as direct port of the PlayStation 3 since it would take the current-generation code for iPhone platform, reported IGN. Capcom confirmed that the iPhone version of the game will have gamers' favorite fighters that would obviously include Ryu and Ken. The roster of the Street Fighters will contain fighters from the classic version of the game and also the new characters included in PS3 version.
The directional pad will obviously point the direction of the kicks or punches while the special buttons would be allocated for 'Kick', 'Punch', Special and Super Power moves.
Thanks to iPhone's Peer-to-Peer gaming capabilities, this game will allow two iPhone OS based device owners to compete against each other in multi-player mode. For training, the game offers Dojo Mode as well.
