It might not have a very appealing name or the pedigree of Google's Nexus One. But that doesn't stop the SHW-M100S from becoming the most powerful Android phone from the Samsung stables so far.
Say hello, again to the SHW-M100S, Samsung's latest phone based on Android. Little is known about the phone except for the fact that it has a 3.7 inch AMOLED display (same as that of the Nexus One), a 5 megapixel camera and support for Wi-Fi 802.11n. There is no information on the kind of processor this one uses. However, it would definitely not be something slower than the Nexus One. On the OS front, it will run Android 2.1 and will also feature a T-DMB mobile TV tuner. That brings us to the problem with this handset. Availability.
By the looks of it, the SHW-M100S is a Korea specific handset and will only be available in Korea. The phone might be released by March on Korea's SK Telecom network. But then, we can always hope a normal, non-Korean version too makes an official appearance soon.
