ECS Unleashes Black GTX 460

With the just released NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 GPU for the masses, ECS, which has so far been offering motherboards in India, has launched its new Black GTX 460 graphics card, unleashing high-end gaming performance at a considerably affordable price tag.

As with other Black series products from ECS, this graphics card is targeted towards the enthusiasts who want more bang for buck. The Black GTX 460 boasts of being able to overclock more than 20% of its stock speeds, thus giving competitive gamers that extra edge they often crave for to trounce the competition.

High overclocking comes with efficient cooling in this card, thanks to highly efficient cooling by Arctic Cooling engineering solution with dual ultra quiet fans blowing into heat sink with 4 heatpipes. This allows the card to perform flawlessly even in high overclocking mode.

The GeForce GTX 460 has 336 powerful CUDA cores to handle all the game physics aptly in addition to any GPGPU task. The card comes equipped with 1024 MB GDDR5 with 256-bit data bus. It supports OpenGL 4.0 and DirectX 11 for unsurpassed realism and visuals in the latest games. Scalability has been addressed by means of support for 2-way SLI. The two Dual-link DVI-I and one HDMI output (supporting HDMI 1.4 standard), supports three HD displays via pure digital signal, powered by NVIDIA 3D Vision Surround Technology, allowing for exciting and immersive stereoscopic 3D gaming.

The ECS Black GTX 460 is priced at Rs.15,900 and comes with a 3-year warranty. Now that s some encouraging news for those of you who held back from high-end gaming due to the high cost, isn t it?
