Facebook's single horse race to 500 million is almost in its last leg. A few months ago, Facebook was quoted to have 400 million users and they expect their 500 millionth cheeseball of a kid to join the network sometime this week.
Must say, amazing growth from just half of that a year back.
So, what's in it for the users? Apparently, Facebook plans to celebrate its users by publishing their "Facebook stories" on a separate site within Facebook. About 200 stories will be chosen from around the world to be showcased there.
So, for all you Facebook fanboys who while away their time looking for a prince charming or some 'frandsheep' online, here's an idea - get your thoughts together, compose and submit your story to Facebook here.
Who knows, maybe you are worth something after all.
Things to remember,
1. Your story should be 420 characters or less
2. Facebook retains all rights to the story (as it does for practically everything u do there)
Go ahead, maybe this will turn out to be easier than getting a date on Facebook.
