Yahoo has finally embraced Google's Android platform by introducing Yahoo Mail, Messenger and Search apps for Android phones. Also, for the iPhone and iPod Touch users of Yahoo apps, the mobile mail interface has been updated with HTML5 support. These apps are optimized for Motorola Droid, HTC Incredible, and Google Nexus One. Users of phones with Android 2.0 version or higher can download these apps from Android Market.Yahoo Mail and Messenger are standalone applications that also include rich text formatting, emoticons and access to Yahoo Address Book.
Yahoo Mail app features:

- Access to Yahoo! Address Book along with native Contacts

Yahoo Search is a widget just like the Google Search widget which appears on the Android phone desktops.
