If you were waiting to lay your hands on Nokia C6, your wait just got extended. We were very curious about the launch date of this much awaited Nokia handset and so we contacted Nokia on its Twitter account inquiring about the launch of this smartphone in India. Luckily, Nokia was quick to respond. According to them, the Nokia C6 will be launched in India by the first week of September. So, there you have it folks, straight from the horse's mouth. 
Here is a recap of the features of the phone. The C6 happens to be a full fledged Symbian S60 based smartphone. It boasts of a large 3.2 inch touchscreen display as well as a slide out QWERTY keyboard. Like the C3, this phone too displays social networking feeds right on the home screen. It also comes with a full suite of email and social networking capabilities. As for other features, the C6 boasts of a 5 megapixel camera complete with autofocus and flash. It also come preloaded with Ovi Maps and the Ovi Store applications.
This phone is expected to cost between Rs. 12,000 and Rs. 14,000 in India, making it superb value. Let's hope the prices remain close to what most people are estimating it at.
