While the first of the Symbian^3 based handsets are yet to trickle in, work seems to be on in full swing on Symbian^4.The first reviews of Symbian^3 haven't been very positive, thanks to Symbian's decision to keep old remnants of the Symbian OS in its UI elements. That shouldnt however be the case when it comes to Symbian^4. A few images of what is likely to be the UI of upcoming Symbian^4 based devices have appeared on the Symbian Foundations open community and from what we infer, the new designs doesnt have the Good ol Symbian tinge. It looks like an completely new OS but nothing awesome. There is no wow factor although we're yet to see how it will fare on the functionality front.
The released screenshots showcases a home screen that has decent eyecandy and stuff like a status bar, a small, battery indicator and a clock.
