Guess this is one of those things that makes the Android platform more desirable than other smartphone platforms out there. Features that were not present in stock version of phones can be added just by a firmware update.In the latest example, an over-the-air update that is set to arrive for the HTC Incredible will give it quite a bunch of new features. While the update does not endow it with Android 2.2, new features like mobile hot spot and support for HD (720p) video recording does make its way in.
There is no word when this update would be released. But then since the Incredible is not available outside of U.S. in sizable numbers, only Verizon Incredible users might be really looking forward to this.
