Gigabyte Motherboards Now Support iPad Charging

All iPad owners with Gigabyte motherboard systems can now make the best of its USB ports. Gigabyte has announced new USB charge driver update for its Intel and AMD chipset based motherboards. Whether your iPad is in on or off state, you can hook it to Gigabyte motherboard's USB port to charge it. This driver update can be downloaded from Gigabyte's official site here. This update caters to Windows PC owners.

Favoring the Apple iPad charging, Gigabyte brings new On/Off Charge driver. Gigabyte boasts that USB ports in its motherboards are capable enough to provide 500mA power to the iPad for charging. Usually, the traditional Ports aren't capable of providing that much power for charging the iPad.

This driver brings iPad charging support regardless of the device being on or off for Gigabyte boasts that the USB used in motherboards with Intel Chipsets- Intel X58, P55, H55 and H57. Apart from that, this driver is also usable in current AMD chipset based motherboards as well as the upcoming AMD 800 chipset motherboards.

This is something new which may bother several Windows PC owners who buy iPad. In case you have a motherboard from some other manufacturer, you may not be able to charge iPad via USB unless respective driver update is applied.
