Virgin Mobile India has announced the launch of a pocket friendly local calling pack for all its GSM subscribers. The Local pack, worth Rs. 45 offers calls to any local number at just 1paise/2seconds. This pack comes with a validity of 30 days and is available across Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Orissa, Mumbai and Maharashtra circles.Virgin Mobile GSM Pocket Friendliest pack at a glance:

- What is the return? 1p/2 sec for calling any local number. This, according to Virgin Mobile, is just half the amount you used to pay earlier.

The company has also clarified that the benefits of this pack will be available to Virgin Mobile users on both minute and second billing profiles. Virgin Mobile has also provided consumers an option to choose a per minute tariff or a per second one. Consumers on per minute tariff are offered a differentiated tariff proposition of 20p/min for STD and localcalls to any Virgin Mobile number. Virgin Mobile customers calling any other network will be charged at 40p/min for local and 50p/min for STD calls.
