Windows 7 Service Pack 1 Beta Build Leaked

While many wee-fully enjoy new Windows 7 operating system from Microsoft, images of the Service Pack beta build were grabbed by GeekSmack site. And as the blog post by Chris indicates, the Windows 7 SP 1 beta build would be available through file sharing networks. Last month, Brandon LeBlanc, Microsoft Windows communication manager, shared a few details about the updates that can be expected from Windows 7 Service Pack 1 which is due later this year.

Folks over at GeekSmack have managed to lay their hands on a Windows 7 SP1 beta build with 6.1.7601.16537.amd64fre.win7.100327-0053 build string. It appears that the build was prepared on March 27 (win7.100327). From the early installation reports, the build installation process is fast but no information is available whether it supports recent hardware standards - USB 3.0 and Bluetooth.

Windows 7 has been Microsoft's one of the fastest selling operating system. It is also giving good competition to Apple's Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard. Back in January, ex-Microsoft employee had uploaded a document stating that the Windows 8 RTM build is expected to arrive in mid-2011.
