Google has officially released new buttons for its Google Buzz service that was launched in February this year. Google Buzz is a service for starting conversations through status updates, sharing videos, photos, comments, and much more in real-time right within the Gmail page. The new Google Buzz buttons will allow sharing posts to the Buzz stream by a simple click on it.
Google has been constantly improving its Buzz service but the Buttons was the most requested feature ever since the service was launched. Two Buzz buttons exist, of which the larger one comes with a counter while the other is 'Follow me' button usable for promoting Buzz account. To add Google Buzz buttons to your site, just go to buzz.google.com/stuff, configure your buttons with a couple clicks and copy a few JavaScript lines to your site's code.
Sharing platforms like AddThis, ShareThis, Meebo, Shareholic and AddToAny have already incorporated the Buzz button in their sharing pane. The participating sites who have included the Buzz button are: The Washington Post, The Huffington Post, Glamour, YouTube, Blogger, MySpace, GigaOM, PBS Parents, PBS NewsHour, The Next Web, TweetDeck, SocialWok, Disqus, Vinehub, Mashable, TechCrunch and Buzzzy.
These Buzz buttons can be put up on the blogs and websites just like we have the Digg, Retweet, Facebook Share, etc. buttons to share content across the web.
